We've got a pretty wide spread of armies we play at the Crafting Cave.

I'm the 40K dad of the group.  I've been playing my Dark Angels successor Chapter, the Night Angels, since 3rd edition.

I also play Chaos, and very occasionally Imperial Guard.  I"ve got a Grey Knights army too, but I haven't played it since 4th edition.

Dan is the next-longest 40K player in the group - which isn't saying much, but it was the conversation between him and I that sparked the initial interest in the game.  His main army is Imperial Guard.  He's come up with a renegade background for them that dovetails nicely with his fiancee's Chaos Marines.

Dan has also been known to dabble with Tau, but hasn't really embraced them as one of "his" armies.

Carol is Dan's fiancee.  The GM of our Pathfinder game, she initially wasn't as interested in trying 40K as some of our other cave-goers.  Then I left a Sisters of Battle army lying around the cave.  She got interested in the Sisters, and began playing a lot.  It helps that the cave belongs to her best friend's family, is her favorite hangout, and various members of our group of friends can be found there pretty reliably.

Carol also got involved in playing Chaos Marines, and these days plays them much more consistently than her Sisters.  Lord Mercury and the Cacophonous Host can often be found vying against the armies of the Imperium.

Our most recent convert is Sheri, Carol's best friend.  It is through Sheri's graces that we enjoy access to the cave, but she didn't really get that interested in 40K until she discovered the Space Wolves.  Now, it's not unusual for Sheri to be howling in lupine glee as her Thunderwolf Cavalry rampages through renegades and heretics alike!

Sheri's cousin Jess plays Blood Angels.  Jess doesn't have the depth of collection many of us do, so my Night Angels mins often find themselves being drafted into her forces, but she's working on it.  She got her first flyer for Christmas - a Storm Raven!

Jess' SO Sam also plays, though it's been some time since she's put models to table.  When she does though, she plays Eldar.

And then there's our friend Britny, who along with Jess was the reason Dan and I staged an example game of 40K at the cave.  Britny started out with Eldar, later refining her tastes to Harlequins.  Unfortunately Britny hasn't participated in our cave shenanigans in going on six months now.  We miss you Britny!
