One nerd's journey into 40K
As a nerd, I was a late bloomer. I didn't fall into gaming until after high school, but when I did discover it, I fell hard. I've always enjoyed telling stories to myself, so when I found a pastime that let me bring them to life, I was an instant convert.
I became the full-on nerd. If it's nerdy, I do it - computer games, CCGs, tabletop role playing, live action role playing, and, of course, tabletop wargaming.
I began playing 40K way the heck back in 3rd edition, I guesstimate somewhere around 2002. I love every aspect of the hobby - converting, painting, the narrative, and the gameplay. I've had the good fortune to bring a bunch of fine new people into the hobby. I look forward to helping more people discover the fun I get out of the game.
